Introduction

Quick start

1. Download the extension and install it in Chrome or Edge.
2. Open the page you want to automate, then open the options page at https://stable.getautoclicker.com.
3. Go to Automations and click New to create an automation.
4. Add your target URL, then add one or more Steps with a Target and a Value.
5. Save the automation and refresh the target page, or run it manually with a hotkey if you selected Manual mode.

You can still right-click any element (button, input, textarea, and similar controls) and choose Auto Clicker - AutoFill to pre-fill the current page URL and target selector. Use:

• ⊕ Configure for this Field to capture an XPath-based target
• ⌖ Configure by Position to capture a position-based target
• ☉ Auto Clicker (Record) to record steps and turn them into an automation

Additional (Advance)

• Automations - the full list of saved automations in the extension
  • Automation - one URL rule plus its steps and automation-level behavior
    • Loop - repeat the full automation or refresh after it finishes
      • Step - one target plus the value or command to run on it
        • Step Value
        • State Guard
        • Page Guard - add a pre-check before a step runs
        • Step Settings
    • Monitor - monitor for new matching elements on dynamic pages
    • Automation Settings
• Global Settings - shared defaults that apply across all automations

Try now

• URL: https://test.getautoclicker.com/
• Goal: Fill username and click a button

Steps

1. Open the page above.
2. Create a new Automation for that URL.
3. Add Step 1

• Target: //input[@name="username"]
• Value: Your name

4. Add Step 2

• Target: //button[@random]
• Value: leave blank (blank value triggers click)

5. Save and run.

Set up Global Settings (recommended)

Global settings control how the extension behaves across all automations.

1. Open Global Settings.
2. Consider setting:

• Run mode: Automatic or Manual
• Hotkey: Define a shortcut to start in Manual mode (e.g., Ctrl + Shift + A)
• Page Load Timing: After Full Load vs As Page Loads
• Status Bar: Adjust position or disable in Additional Settings

3. Save changes and refresh your target page.
