Recording

Start recording from the Side Panel and capture steps live while you interact with the page.

Record clicks, inputs, and interactions from the Side Panel recording tab and build your automation live.

Steps

  1. Open the extension Side Panel and go to Recording.
  2. The Side Panel has two tabs:
    • Automations tab: your automation list. Click an automation to run it.
    • Recording tab: recording controls and captured steps.
  3. Click Start Recording in the Recording tab.
  4. Continue interacting with the page as usual (click, fill, select, etc.).
  5. Each recorded step is saved immediately as it is performed. You do not need to wait for Stop Recording to persist steps.
  6. Click Stop Recording when you are done to end the recording session.

Recording runs through the Side Panel workflow. Stopping recording ends capture, but step persistence happens continuously during recording.
