Step Value

Step values let you do much more than click or fill a form. Each value runs against the target found for the current step.

Scroll To Scroll the page or element to a specific position.

Mouse Events Trigger mouse events like click, hover, or drag.

Touch Events Dispatch touch events like touchstart, touchend, and touchmove on an element.

Form Events Trigger form-related events such as submit or reset.

Key Events Simulate key presses or keyboard shortcuts.

Keyboard Events Advanced keyboard event simulation for custom flows.

Location Command Change or read the browser location (URL).

History Command Navigate browser history with back, forward, go, pushState, and replaceState.

Window Command Control window actions like open, close, or focus.

Tabs Reload or navigate the current tab using the extension tab API.

Element Perform DOM operations directly on the matched element such as remove or scrollIntoView.

Repeat Use loop repeat, step repeat, and session count placeholders inside a value.

Session Use the session count to track how many times a page has been visited in the current tab.

Function Run a custom JavaScript function as a value action.

Note: Within Step Value, you can switch between single-line input and multi-line textarea modes using the small button in front of the input field. If you want to add multiple lines of text as a value, switch to textarea mode for that field.
